*Induction of New Member*
It was my pleasure to induct our newest Rotarian, Ali Bowyer, into our club! We're thrilled to have you on board. What a huge win for our club!

*Farewell and Safe Travels to Kristen Jewson*
We bid farewell to Kristen Jewson, who joined us for a meeting and lent a hand at two Train of Lights sausage sizzles before embarking on her epic journey. We were happy to sneak her onto the train for the return journey to Lakeside. Safe travels, Kristen!

*Informative Session with Peter Moore*
Peter Moore from Hire a Hubby reminded us of the importance of not attempting DIY electrical or plumbing work, as it may not meet code and can be dangerous. Thank you, Peter, for sharing your expertise!

*Youth Protection Requirements*
Don't forget to complete your youth protection requirements forms as soon as possible, especially if you're part of the Youth committee or Early Act.

*Train of Lights Update*
We've had another successful week on the Train of Lights, with 6 nights remaining. We've cooked an impressive 2,794 sausages and are on track to raise between $9,000 and $10,000. Kudos to our leaders John Henderson, Toni-Anne, Roy, Ian W, and Peter Brock for their hard work.

*Social Media Videos*
Thank you for your patience as we create videos for social media. We understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea, and we respect your boundaries. Feel free to opt-out of participating in the reels if you're uncomfortable.

**WhatsApp group**
A huge thank you to everyone for warmly embracing our new WhatsApp group!
It's great to see most of our members now connected and engaged. If anyone needs help joining or has questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. And stay tuned - we're excited to introduce more innovative communication platforms to the club, designed to facilitate seamless collaboration and discussion for our more serious business and projects!

**Next week club assembly**
We're excited to reunite as a full family at next Tuesday's club assembly, after a hectic three weeks of Train of Lights events. We encourage you all to make every effort to join us, as we're eager to catch up and celebrate our successes together. Plus, we'll be taking a group photo, so it would be fantastic to have everyone present. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
