Guest Speaker - Introduced by Ian Wakefield
Jen Willis – Mt Everest Climber Mountaineering with Multiple Sclerosis- the first Australian with MS to climb to 8000m- Everest in April 2023 Was fully diagnosed with MS in 2018.
Jen is years old, a single mother to three wonderful humans (21, 18 and 14) Has been to the South Pole. Whilst training for Everest, she thought she was climbing slowly at 6800mtrs. The Sherpa said she had to keep up. She did but had COVID!
She is planning to take a group of people with MS to Everest Base Camp next year.
