*Social Night Success!*
We had an amazing time at the Station house, thanks to Gayle Barrot and our fantastic Vocational Team! Great food, wonderful company, and warm camaraderie - what more could we ask for?

**A Guarantee in Life...**
...is that our club always has a fantastic time at social nights! It's a true testament to our members' spirit and warmth.

**Birthday Wishes**
Andrew was thrilled with all the birthday love and wishes. He extends his heartfelt thanks to everyone for making his 50th birthday celebration so special.

**Next Week...**
We'll be in Vietnam, celebrating Andrew's birthday in style! Unfortunately, we'll miss Melinda's "Behind the Badge" talk. Good luck, Melinda! You'll knock it out of the park!

**In Our Absence...**
Don't worry, our club will be in great hands with Acting President Paul Harris Fellow Gayle Barrot. Thank you, Gayle, for your support!

**Stay Connected**
We'll be back soon, filled with stories and photos from our adventures in Vietnam. Until then, stay well and keep up the great work.

Social Evening @ The Station House - 13 August 2024

(Thank you to Gayle Barrot for the President's report)

(Stand-In) President's Report

Our social night at the Station House in Gembrook was a great night of fellowship and frivolity.

A total of 32 of us, including Hita’s children, Toni-Anne’s son and Kelly and Andrew’s sons, enjoyed our gourmet pizzas in a relaxed environment. David and Charlotte were very gracious hosts who opened on their day off especially for us. At the end of the evening David showed us some tricks to make the best pizza dough including the way to knead the dough and the importance of proving the dough well.

We also celebrated ‘Handsome Pants’ half century with a fabulous rendition of Happy Birthday and a cake provided by Kelly. Wishing them a fabulous holiday in Vietnam as they celebrate Andrew’s milestone birthday.

This week we have ‘family week’ (as Pres Kelly would say) on Tuesday as the Committee Chairs report to the club on the projects and ideas they are working on. We will also hear from Melinda Moulday as she gives us an insight into her life as our Behind the Badge speaker. We are really looking forward to your talk Melinda.

MUNA is on this Saturday 17th August and Ken, Gloria and Lyn will be attending, we will look forward to hearing all about how the day went and, of course, how our candidates, who are representing Indonesia, got on.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Tuesday.
