Great meeting last Tuesday when we celebrated the KFRWPB and heard from Toot toot Hendo that we raised towards $50K. Brilliant effort everyone. We also welcomed Scout leader Dave Forsyth as a visitor after the scouts had helped with the car parking making $845. We Love You DG Ken also made a guest appearance
Tuesday night we heard from Katarina and Belinda from MOTHS (Mothers of the Hills). The support network set up locally for mums was fascinating to hear about and whilst having over 5000 members they still were not seemingly well known given not many from our Club had heard of them. Well we do now and hopefully we’ll be able to collaborate moving forward.
Over the weekend the Club was out in force holding a successful market with plenty of stalls, plenty of goodies thanks to the baking of some of our talented members and partners, and importantly there were many customers. Well done everyone, especially following up after last weekend.
This Tuesday night will be our last formal meeting for this year and we’ll be seeing Tracey Bannister clearly share her backstory with us and hearing from our committee during the Club Assembly.
Some exciting announcements too, including about the All American!
A few things also on next week with Shalini and I off to the SES Monday night and Tina attending the local primary schools giving citizenship awards, and with me Thursday night presenting the first Chris Adams’ citizenship award at Gembrook primary. Tina will also be presenting music awards (maybe) at the Emerald Secondary College.
And of course the following Tuesday night we celebrate Christmas at my place!
See you Tuesday.
