• Nicholas and Leah – giving time and getting involved, Nicki – Sangeeta’s daughter and Patrick, Poppy, Leah, Jamie all these kids have competed before in the fun run knowing what the event has done and giving of their time. Such satisfaction of a parent to see the kids putting that effort in.

• 5,400 mothers in and around the Dandenong Ranges – 50 to 80 new mums every week
• Founded in 2015
• We have an online private Facebook Group and in person group, advocate for the needs of members of the group
• Belinda was an exchange student to Denmark – connected to Rotary in Townsville
• When Belinda arrived she didn’t know a soul in the hills, could be isolating - fell off of a ladder and realised she would be isolated
• Had to ask people to join group and put out flyers – slowly it grew
• Culture of respect and talking to each other face to face

• Big thank you to everyone – who helped on the Saturday
• On the day 100 volunteers - friends, family, Belgrave Rotary and 501 group
• PHF Lyn Beckwith and Alan were cutting the grass down
• Ev helped with the radio
• Aneesh helped with the certificates
• PP PHF Russ Nielsen – trophy design
• Naomi Falkner – Sally, Leah, Kelly and her sister
• PP PHF Tina McInerney – local shops getting items, sandwiches, and on the day
• PP PHF Emma Clarke and PP PHF Gayle Barrot, printing things off and laminating

• Just under 500 children registered on the day – average 80 turn up on the day this year we had 16 which was odd
• Weird figures – normally 3&4 races 36 for 3 yr olds and 40 odd for the 4 yr olds
• 7&8 and 9-12 – 135 starters
• Train rides far more than in previous years – Try booking
