  • Thank you to PS Speech Comp Committee and all who helped – a great evening.Ran smoothly and the children did a good job.Winner has Dyslexia.Final Nov 20th Vicki and Gloria will be going to the District Competion at the Manningham Hotel.Write up is in the paper – thank you Shalini.
  • Welcome back DGN Emma – from week training
  • Toni-Anne went all the way to Frankston to do some role play
  • Christmas Party – Sunday 8 December@ 1pm to be held at Roy and Ali’s house – cost $35 bubbly and fully catered for
  • Don Borg – is a lifetime member already had an event and is a shy guy, will come occasionally and will volunteer too
  • Next week showbag packing on Thursday 21st – no meeting next week on 19th

  • Went to Emerald Arts Society on behalf of the club.Anna is a member of the Arts Society.
  • Early-Act0rs went to the Remembrance Service on 11/11 and raised over $200 for UNICEF
  • Marcus will be attending the Valedictory Dinner at the Emerald Secondary School on Thursday
  • Gayle and Catherine helping with Breakfast Club on Tuesday
Speech Competition in the paper - Go Shalini!!!!
PP PHF Ian Ash – All American
  • Amazed how much achieved in short space of time
  • In touch with dozens of stall holders – well done Rowan and Linda
  • Kris marketing and PR – Mr Excited engaged 27k followers – rebranded the All American as well
  • Roy even when sick was working away
  • Need permission for public parking and and also make sure traffic management plan is signed off – with Council at the moment
  • Gem Signs are engaged and on board (excuse the pun)
  • Late start but we are getting there as a team

  • Emma said she was thankful to go to Queenstown In NZ for Zone 8 President Training
  • The cohort of DGN are absolutely feisty change-makers

Remember that you can recycle your bottles and cans at the Vic Depot Emerald operated by SES Emerald container refund point and donate the funds to our very own Emerald Rotary Club.
All you need to do is select THE ROTARY CLUB OF EMERALD AND DISTRICT INC., Member # C2000010957 as your refund destination. Every little bit helps, both the environment and the community!

Join peacebuilders from around the world for the 2025 Rotary Presidential Peace Conference, 20-22 February, in Istanbul, Türkiye, to explore ways to create environments that foster peace and understanding. 

With the theme of Healing in a Divided World, the conference offers a unique opportunity to connect with Rotary members, partners, and thought leaders committed to addressing important peacebuilding issues of our time.  

Through dialogue, interactive workshops, and insightful presentations, we’ll cover topics such as:   
  • Peace in a polarized world
  • Technology, media, and peacebuilding
  • Environmental issues in peacebuilding
  • Making peace last
Led by 2024-25 Rotary International President Stephanie A. Urchick and held at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center, the conference will also recognize Rotary’s contributions to advancing peace through our peace and conflict resolution area of focus and our Rotary Peace Centers and mark the launch of our newest peace center in partnership with Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul.
