Dear friends,

As our club breaks for the summer holiday period, on behalf of the Board, I'd like to wish all members, their families and friends, a very merry Christmas and a happy, safe and prosperous new year

Our next club meeting will be held at the Paradise Hotel on Tuesday 27th January, however we do have two social activities before then. These are;

Saturday 17th January - Philip Island Beach Day at Melinda's (Anna to co-ordinate - more details to come).
Tuesday 20th January - Burnt Chop at Tina's house (details to come)

Next year, we have very special news as we will be commencing an Interact club at Emerald Secondary College. This has been in the planning phase for a while, however thanks to the tremendous effort of Gloria, Melinda, Marcus and the Youth Committee, and the support of ESC Principal James Barut, we are finally there. A big thankyou to Melinda for continuing to lead this project throughout 2026.

The Interact club will provide another service pathway for our youth and links very nicely with our EarlyAct clubs.

Again, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I look forward to spending time at home before we recommence on the 27th January.

Merry Christmas.

Rotary Snippet - Interact

Rotary Interact is Rotary International's global service club program for young people aged 12-18, empowering them to develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and foster international understanding through meaningful service projects, with support from local Rotary clubs. These self-governing clubs engage in local and international service, learning responsibility, integrity, and global goodwill, making them a significant part of Rotary's youth development.
