Greetings, Rotary Warriors!

I hope this week has been a whirlwind of positivity for you all, and that you've shared that positivity with strangers along the way!

A huge shoutout to PP Gayle for hosting an absolutely fantastic social evening this past Tuesday. It was a blast to see all your smiling faces!😊

My week has felt like a thrilling ride through Wonderland – just like Alice! We've had countless warriors out there, doing good to make the world a brighter place.

I've heard that the Halloween disco was a monstrous success, thanks to our PE Kelly and the tireless efforts of our club members. Kudos to PE Kelly, her incredible fundraising team, and our amazing club members for planning, organizing, and rocking that event!
This past Sunday afternoon, Marcus and I had an enlightening get-together with our club's new members and their sponsors. It was a real win as we got to know them better, and they got to see how Rotary is changing lives both locally and globally. We're not just growing stronger and wiser; we're also staying connected, vibrating with energy, and carrying forward Rotary's legacy and our club's fantastic culture of fellowship, inclusivity, and kindness.

Wednesday night, we had a board meeting with our fantastic chairs, and the ideas are finally turning into reality. Some have already become fantastic events, and I can't wait for what's next. Thanks for dedicating your time and effort. I know it can be challenging at times, but you all roll up your sleeves and get it done. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Thursday morning, our very own Russ Neilson (an honorary member of our club) and Peter Moloney (RSL) were at the Welcome to Emerald sign for a photo shoot for Star Trader. Fun fact – Russ had a role in the designing of Anzac Walk! How incredible is that? Russ, I hope you had a fantastic trip down memory lane, and we're incredibly grateful for your time and support.

Tina, your help with poppy planting is greatly appreciated. ðŸ˜Š

Today, a few of us are on shifts for the Bumper Christmas raffle ticket sales at Emerald Woolworths. Let's show our support and raise awareness of Rotary in our local community. With your help, we can make a real difference both locally and globally.

A friendly reminder that we won't be meeting this Tuesday, November 7th, so enjoy your long weekend.

Until then, stay safe, and let's keep spreading the joy of Rotary to everyone we meet!
